A beautiful 4* Hotel & Spa in Franschhoek, offering 61 rooms & suites, 3 F&B outlets and 5 Events & Conference Venues, including a Chapel, is looking for a Junior Banqueting / Conference manager to join their team.  Our client is searching specifically for a young (under the age of 30), well-presented, recently qualified Candidate, with a year or two's experience in a similar role, who is eager to grow and develop in the position.  This is a LIVE IN POSITION (not negotiable)

REQUIREMENTS

All Candidates MUST hold a formal Hospitality qualification 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to:

*  Ensure conference rooms are set up, refreshed when required, oversee tea and coffee breaks.

*  Ensure the equipment is maintained and looked after.

*  Assist the current management with weddings and social functions, including bar set-up and charging for the same.

*  In the absence of any conferences, the candidate will assist with duty management shifts within the food and beverage department
