Assistant Accountant

About the position

Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their Port Elizabeth team. Duties to include (amongst others):- Daily cash forecasts for all Group entities Maintaining all Group entities cash books Bank reconciliations for all Group entities Processing and authorising all payments Responsible for all Foreign payments and Forward Exchange cover contracts. Minimum Requirements:- Relevant Graduate Diploma / Degree Computer literate and have a detailed working knowledge of Syspro, MS Word, MS Excel Tolerance for stress and the ability to work well under pressure Ability to work independently and take own initiative Good communication skills *Available for payment processing / releases outside of normal working hours.
