- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate OR National Certificate Rock breaking Underground Hard Rock Level 3.
- Mine Overseers Certificate of Competence
- 7 years' mining experience in an underground environment.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mine Overseer
