About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A provider of cutting-edge Industrial Process Optimisation Technologies seeks an Industrial Quantitative Analyst with expertise in financially modelling industrial processes. The candidate will require being appropriately skilled in the advanced mathematical and statistical techniques contingent to precisely determining the incremental accumulation of production costs in primary industry process (i.e., Sugar milling and refining, mining and minerals beneficiation, etc.). The role entails working within a highly multi-disciplinary R&D team. As such, the individual will require being an effective communicator and team player. Furthermore, the role will demand time spent on site becoming acquainted with relevant industrial processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A robust foundation of tertiary education in Mathematics, the Sciences or Engineering will be necessary. An Engineering qualification is not a prerequisite; however, an interest in and an ability to fully appreciate the logic underpinning the design of industrial processes is evidently a requirement.
• Accrual of considerable knowledge relevant to targeted industrial processes.
• Contextual understanding of Machine Learning algorithms.
• Advanced financial modelling.
