Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Reservationist for a luxury 5* Game Lodge situated in the Pilanesburg. We are looking for a well presented, organized candidate to take on the role of Reservationist at this establishment, please note, this role will be a work from home position and require you to be driven and self motivated.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year's experience in a 4 or 5 Reservations Position (Essential)
• Opera "Individual and Group/ Block Reservations" (Essential)
• Experience with OTA ExtraNET platforms
• Basic Computer skills (Windows literate)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellent Administration Skills
• Excellent Telephonic Communication Skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to work shift work and Weekends as needed

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

• To ensure that all reservations requested are entered into the system quickly and accurately and confirmed accordingly.
• To check all reservations/bookings downloaded from Central Reservation Office, confirm and send correspondence where necessary
• Ensuring that reservation policies and procedures regarding payments, confirmations, terms, and conditions are effectively adhered to
• Ensuring and adhering to effective communication from the reservations department to all operational departments.
• To ensure that deposit and contracts are received timeously, correctly, and to report any deviations to the Reservations Manager.
• Maintaining all guest/agent/company profiles in Opera.
• Handling guest Queries.
