About the position
Stock purchasing administrator position available in Pretoria
A well-established, family-owned Automotive Parts wholesale business, is looking for an experienced person to take on the position as stock purchasing administrator. Must have excellent Excel knowledge (multiple formulas and vlookup)
Duties and responsibilities
- Placing, Tracing and Processing of International orders with suppliers
- Dealing with new parts and pricing
- Receiving, Comparing and Evaluating prices
- Completing Landed cost and related administration
- Back Order Reporting
- Assisting in Taking and Capturing of sales orders
- Assisting in answering of phones
- Filing
- Completing Expense Claims of Salesmen
- Admin relating to timekeeping of overtime (Viper)
- Managing stationery
- Assistant to Office Manager
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric or Relevant Qualification – Essential
- Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office) – Essential
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate Level - Data manipulation, Subtotals, Attention to detail with data formatting – Essential (an Excel assessment will be part of the interview)
- SAGE Pastel Partner Experience – Preferable but not Essential
- Minimum 2 years experience as a buyer – Essential
Skill requirements

- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
