Our client, a Table Grape Farm, situated in the Hex River valley, DE DOORNS, has this exciting position available for a driven Table Grape Production Manager with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, for one of their 12 production units.

The ideal candidate can work independently, is self-motivated, can handle pressure and initiative to enhance and help grow the farming activities.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• A relevant training/tertiary qualification in
Agriculture
• A minimum 4-5 years’ practical experience
in a similar role
• Must be self-motivated with excellent
interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Good recordkeeping and administrative
skills
• Willingness to work hard and having a
passion for farming activities is crucial.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective management of the 35 hectares production-unit that will include all table grape production aspects, financial and budget management, appropriate administration as well as the upliftment and development of all workers.

A market-related remuneration package which includes housing and profit-sharing will be offered to the successful candidate.
