Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position in the Agriculture Division for its feed mill operations in Kariega. The incumbent will be required to effectively utilize resources to produce feed within specifications as per formulation according to the production schedule to meet order requirements. The ideal candidate should have a matric certificate or equivalent and at least 6 years production experience of which 3 were hands on production supervision in a Feed Mill. A recognised production management qualification would be an advantage. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Results Required
Ensure that the feedmill consistently produces feed to the required standards;
Perform and report on daily inspections and tests on measuring equipment and report non-conformances;
Regularly check that pelleters and extruder are producing the correct quality at the maximum throughput;
Immediately attend to breakdowns and blockages to minimise production downtime
Ensure spillages are addressed, plant cleaning schedules are followed and that housekeeping is up to standard;
Supervisor personnel on shift;
Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to work, working conditions, discipline, SHE, BRC and administration
