MEDICAL OFFICER

        NINE (9) MONTHS- FIXED TERM CONTRACT

The main purpose of the position is to render efficient and effective clinical care to volunteers on research studies and clients at the Youth Centre.

Minimum Requirements:

• MBChB; with active HPCSA registration as an Independent Practitioner 
• Face to face GCP training with an accredited provider (like Crede)
• At least 2-years post community service
• At least 1-year experience working on clinical trials
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Computer skills (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent Communication (verbal and written) skills
• Strong administrative skills
• Excellent ability to build interpersonal relationships
• Strong client focus
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong work ethic
• Detail oriented and capable of completing study documentation legibly and accurately
• Willing to work with COVID patients
• Willing to work flexible hours and weekends if required

Advantageous:

• Valid Code 08 Drivers License
• Valid ACLS certificate
